Jackson is a Queensland local, having attained a Bachelor of Advanced Science with Honours at UQ in 2023. He is now continuing on from his honours research in the Queensland Quantum Lab, studying the dynamics of single proteins at the cell membrane interface with state-of-the-art ballistic optical tweezers. In his spare time he enjoys going for a pub feed.
