David is currently pursuing a PhD in advanced through-ground communications, specialising in the use of highly sensitive optomechanical magnetometers. He completed his undergraduate degrees at Monash University, earning a Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Astrophysics and Applied Mathematics). Over the past seven years, he has worked in the R&D sector, specialising in translational research across industrial robotics and the resources industry. During his spare time, David is actively involved in mentoring youth groups, community outreach initiatives, and performing music.
